A stunning rich green which kind of reminds us of liquorice and kind of reminds of antique bottles. A colour used a lot in our paintings. Long wool 10-20cm, length 90 – 100cm.
Lumiere Art + Co. has always liked to use and experiment with colour throughout each campaign. The Icelandic Sheepskins palette expands on this play of colour and texture, adding another dimension to their bedding and throw styles. Special care has been taken to source product from the most ethically minded tannery in the world.
We are proud to introduce these top quality, soft lambskins of Icelandic origin to our Lumiere family. The uniqueness of these skins are the fact they are dual coated fleece, each with a short layer, fine inner layer and long outer coat, extending up to 15cm in length. The tanning treatment is safe for adults and children, all tanning agents and finishing process meet essential European Union directives concerning environmental preservation and protection.
How to care for your purchase. Small stains and minor soiling can be sponged off with a damp cloth. You can use a special liquid cleanser for wool, mix it with water and use froth only to clean stains (do not use much water). Stretch lambskin to shape it after cleaning. After a few hours of drying away from sunlight and direct heat, comb the fleece with a comb to fluff it out. Brush and vacuum regularly to keep soft and fluffy. Do not expose dyed skins to direct sunlight, to avoid fading. Colour/ dye transfer may occur. Dry clean only.
